Today, Wednesday June 6th of 2018, the activation “My Rights with Pequeños Ciudadanos” was carried out in the school Escuela Primaria Mano Amiga, in the municipality of San Pedro Garza García. The objective is for boys of girls of 1st 2nd and 3rd grade to learn, through ludic and reflective activities, about their rights, Culture of Lawfulness, and about Mexico.
Boys and girls are taught what it means to do what is right, and through examples they learn about actions for living in a Culture of Lawfulness.
One of the activities is called “Tell me citizen stories”, where they are read a story from the book Historias del Buen Ciudadano (Stories of the Good Citizen). At the end of the activity, they participate in a short reflection. In this occasion, THE AUTHORS of the stories were present: Irma Maritza Álvarez García and Ani Yareli de la Cruz Rivera. They are both students from the Mano Amiga La Cima middle-school, who participated in the 3rd edition of the Historias Ciudadanas (Citizen Stories) contest. They told their story and shared their experience participating in the contest, encouraging boys and girls to tell their own stories and live a Culture of Lawfulness.
